FQS Bella Parade : Season 2 : Post # 3

Its day # 2 of the FQS Bella PArade : Season 2!

And the color of the day today is

Bella Solids Plum

Though not as versatile as the other colors we have featured earlier, this is a lovely color in itself!

It has an air of sophistication...

Quilts made from this color make a statement!

Mostly paired with white, this color can also be used as a neutral in pink shaded quilts!

Natalia Bonner from Piece N Quilt has quilted this beautiful quilt made by Michelle. Both the colors as well as the quilting is great!
(I tried to find a link to Michelle's blog/flickr, but could not. Michelle if you're reading this, I must say this is one fab quilt you've made there!)

Jessica, the Sewbot, made this gorgeous quilt that was featured in 100 days of Modern Quilting. I absolutely love her use of the Plum as the neutral against the colorful charm squares!

Using this color in a quilt, reminds me of just one collection!

The Echo Collection by Lotta Jansdotter

Unfortunately the collection has sold out from the Fat Quarter Shop, But I'd love to try it out with the soon to be released Bella Collection too!

What do you say?

Would you like to pair it with the same?

And about today's quilting design, I've chosen to quilt my solid with stars and clouds, not to forget the moon

This design would look lovely on a kids quilt!
