I love looking through all my flickr photos trying to find colour matches! It makes me realise what colours I normally sew with. Thanks for taking the time to do all these posts :-)
ReplyDeleteHey! I'm still loving this Bella Parade feature on solids! I feel like I often overlook solids; they're always an afterthought. It's nice to feature them and really consider base colors before considering patterns!
ReplyDeleteI love your India Stamp quilt and of course Apsara aali. They remind me of my childhood growing up in India - a country still so close to my heart :-)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite of all of your quilts is the portrait of Dada Ajoba. The crafts(wo)manship is incredible, and I know that it had a lot of personal meaning, too. I'm always waiting to see what you'll make next!
ReplyDeleteI am enjoying Bella Parade thoroughly. Some of the colours are amazing and to pair them is real learning and fun process.
ReplyDeleteI love your style it's very diverse. My favorite is the Harry Porter Quilt.
ReplyDeleteLove it. There were a couple of colors this week that I didn't know right off the bat & really had to think about. That's OK though because I like a bit of a challenge :)
ReplyDeleteYour Lone Start quilt is my favourite. It was a hard choice.
ReplyDeleteYou've made a lot of beautiful quilts, but my favorite is your most recent one, Apsara aali. It's an amazing piece of art.
ReplyDeleteThe solid combinations help with getting ideas for prints as well.

ReplyDeleteI'm loving the Bella Parade! I had to miss it entirely last year so I'm making up for that lost year. What I like most is the fun of looking through my online photos and looking at them with new eyes ... picking out things I hadn't really noticed before. Thanks for inspiring me to do that.
ReplyDeleteWell, you've made so many beautiful quilts, it's hard to pick just one favourite. I'm especially fond of Leherey and Orbit and, of course, the one that looks like a big peacock feather.
ReplyDeleteI'm a bit confused. i don't know if you get one comment or only one favorite quilt. I'm loving the parade. Some clues are easier than others... One of my favorite quilts of yours is your India stamp quilt.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy the parade, have not bought any solids and the quilt I like is kitchen windows, it is so colorful.
